Perspective


This is the "upper" back yard. Dwarf Meyer lemon tree on left; one of the raised planters ahead. I am facing south.



That same Meyer lemon tree, now looking to the west, toward pink lemonade lemon tree. (There is one more Meyer lemon tree to the west of that one, in the middle of the herb garden.)


Here is where a mighty grove of eucalyptus once stood before becoming a menace to society. They were fell by the electric co. And now we have sunshine galore and this wasteland, or, dogland, or, as I prefer to think of it, a work in progress. (I am standing by the two planters that are down here and facing east). The soil sucks; there are tons of rocks and much threat of erosion from the slope above (where the artichoke lives):
